of the U.S. Baton Twirling Alumni Foundation.
USBTA is a non-profit organization with the purpose and mission of
raising scholarship money for twirlers and to build a strong community
for young athletes to further their desire and talent for the future.
We also want to foster a nurturing environment that provides twirling educational programs which produce regional, national and international champions in individual and team competitions.

The Founder of the USBTA (United States Baton Twirling Alumni), Pat Barnett, is also a former twirler. She is a native of Jackson, TN where she twirled starting at the age of 6 years old and continued on through her college career.
She currently lives in Cordova, TN (right outside Memphis, TN) and is married to Rob Barnett and has one daughter, Ginny Stauffer, who is a champion twirler.
Her passion for the sport inspired her to create an organization that recognizes former twirlers and promotes current twirlers today and in their future.
Her involvement with twirlers from the beginning stages all the way to the World Cup has been an exciting and rewarding adventure. She has also enjoyed watching athletes grow and experience lasting life changes that build character as they move forward through life's journeys.
She extends a personal invitation to everyone to become a part of this very fulfilling and important organization. Enjoy meeting new people, get together with old friends and begin a new journey on a familiar road.
